Growing and Enhancing Robust, Strengths-Based Communities: Celebrating What’s Working, and What’s Ahead

Both urban and rural areas of the Carolinas are meeting challenges in ways that offer inspiration and utilize a powerful team effort, as businesses, non-profits, the private sector and local and state governments each meaningfully contribute.

North and South Carolina face range of challenges; for example, from how to manage rapid growth and strained infrastructure in a booming urban area, to methods for providing economic opportunities and jobs in an under-served rural region.
